Jacqueline Woods is currently completing her final year of graduate studies at the University of Ottawa majoring in piano performance with Anton Kuerti. She also holds a Bachelor of Music with great distinction from the University of Saskatchewan, where she studied with Kathleen Solose. Additional performance diplomas include the Associateship of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto and the Licentiate of the London College of Music (Honours).

Jacqueline spent the 1999-2000 and 2002-2003 academic years engaged in both private and chamber studies at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. Studies abroad permitted Jacqueline to live and travel throughout Europe as well as within Hungary, where she earned valuable cultural experience and learnt to speak Hungarian.

Jacqueline is currently preparing auditions for doctoral studies. She maintains a busy piano studio and is also the pianist for the University of Ottawa’s choral ensemble. Chamber ventures this Spring include Crumb’s Voice of the Whale and Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire in concerts in Ottawa and Boston.
